About Us
Our team is built on transparency, organization, and clear communication. Owners Jer and David first met when their daughters played on the same basketball team. They quickly realized they shared the same vision: homeowners deserve general contractors who are transparent, trustworthy, and dependable. With Jer’s lifelong construction experience and David’s background in architecture, business, and project management, they combined their strengths to create Solid Renovation Company. Behind them is a dedicated team of skilled employees who share the same values of craftsmanship, reliability, and client care.

Our Process
We strive to make the remodeling process smooth, detailed, and efficient. We pride ourselves on our transparency and clear communication throughout the entire process. Here is a summary of the Preconstruction process.
Initial Meeting and Home Visit
Solid Renovation will review schematic drawings, plans, and goals for your home.
We will provide a high view of the process and how we work, allowing for clarity and introduction into our company and your project/home
Preconstruction Agreement and Refundable Deposit
This step shows commitment between Solid Renovation and you, the homeowner.
Preliminary Budget Forecast
We provide a high level estimate without getting hard bids.
Our team (Solid Renovation, Architect, and Designer) meets with you to discuss the ballpark estimate.
After any revisions, Solid Renovation works with the Architect and Designer to value engineer the project to meet your needs and budget.
Next step is for the Architect to finalize the schematic drawings based on decisions made during the value engineering phase.
Finalize Construction Drawings
Architectural plans are sent off to the engineer.
Architect incorporates the structural plans from the engineer and finalizes the construction drawings based on decisions made during the value engineering phase.
Final Budget Estimate
After final plans are received, Solid Renovation meets on site with most subcontractors (Bidding Day) and puts together hard bids for the final budget based on the construction drawings.
Construction Agreement and Job Deposit
Homeowner signs Construction Agreement and provides Construction Deposit to Solid Renovation.
Obtain Building Permit
Solid Renovation obtains the building permit for your project.
