We completed this home addition and bathroom remodel in Salt Lake City’s East Central neighborhood. This home had an existing addition off the back of the house that was small and dark, with limited storage and an inefficient laundry area space. We removed the existing structure and old deck, and built a larger addition that ties seamlessly into the original home. The new space includes custom built-in cabinetry, a dedicated laundry area, room for furniture and easy movement throughout, and improved access to the lower-level storage and crawl space. The large windows and door bring in natural light and create a clear view from the front of the home all the way to the backyard. On the exterior, we connected the addition to the original structure with beautiful siding and a new roof. We also added a new patio and pergola along with updated landscaping. The bathroom was fully remodeled with modern finishes, a walk-in shower, and full-height design details to make the space feel more open and functional. We are very happy with how this remodel turned out!
